Service Overview
We have been working on all aspects of Ecohomes for around 15 years and can offer a consultancy service for your project. Over the years we have been involved with many different types of construction from heavy build block buildings right through to 400mm deep I beam timber walls - providing the maximum insulation potential. This vast experience also allows us to advise on avoiding the possible pitfalls in construction due to bad detailing that can for example lead to poor performance of the airtight layer.
On various projects we have installed most of the available technologies such as solar panels, heat pumps, micro turbines, Heat Recovery Ventilation systems and now know what to look for in a system and what to avoid. This is crucial information since non of these technologies are really plug in and forget about - they require monitoring, need to be correctly set up and need the user to have a good knowledge of how they work. With out this such systems will not work towards reducing the carbon footprint of a building and may in fact make things worse.

For your project we are able to supply a complete new house, advise on your design or even just offer advice on how best to maximum the potential of the project. We are competitively priced and have been in the building industry for 3 generations so have experience of most house designs!
